Having run my own business overseas for 10 years and then having worked in small business in New Zealand since 2015, I have been privileged to have met some of the most hardworking, down to earth and determined tradies and small business owners.
That overwhelming feeling, when you don’t have enough hours in the weeks to get through your workload, but you don’t have enough work to hire someone full time. The stress and worry result in you being overworked,unproductive and sometimes stagnant because you are spreading yourself too thin, and certain areas of the business become neglected and these are often in the office.
The Back Up Desk was created by my entrepreneurial passion to run my own business again, but anyone who knows me, knows that my nature is help, share and encourage others to be the best they can be, and for every employer and employee to reap the benefits of hard work and perseverance.

Besides my enduring efforts to keep my Tupperware cupboard at home always organised, I like to put that same commitment and enthusiasm into helping my clients get the most out of their office and accounting systems.
I love the bookkeeping side of things, making sure everything is accounted for and captured accurately, keeping those important accounts in tip top shape, so you have your finger on the pulse.
Work/life balance is important to me, and I want to see my clients have more time in their days to spend doing the things they enjoy, or time with the people they care about.
I love what I do, it’s exciting to wake up each morning and know I can make a difference, no matter how small.
